Sonablate International HIFU Registry

The first and most extensive HIFU registry has been created for the advanced Sonablate^® 500 HIFU system that will track clinical outcomes, clinical and technical advances of the system and best practices in the world for further research and review. 

Further advantages of the Registry will be to:

• Have A Registry for Users of the Sonablate^® 500 for Patient Follow up and Assessment of Outcomes

• Provide Objective Information for Quality Assurance and Continued Medical Training

• Expand the Awareness and Use of HIFU for Localized Prostate Cancer

• Provide State-of-the-Art Analytical Tools for Clinical Outcomes

• Create a Forum for International Urologists to Share and Publish Standardized Data in a Retrospective or Prospective Format

A Clinical Steering Committee (CSC) Has Been Established with Control Over the Data with the following urological leaders overseeing the data:

• Registry Chairman – Dr. Mark Emberton

• Principle Medical Officer – Dr.  Rowland Illing

• Three Senior Urological Surgeons (Two Year Term)

• Dr. Toyoaki Uchida – Asia/Middle East

• Dr. Michael Marberger – Europe/Russia
